Commercial Energy Audits
We Analyze the Entire Building Using Cutting Edge Building Diagnostic Technology
We offer commercial energy audits for owners and managers of commercial buildings interested in reducing overhead costs, improving occupant comfort and reducing environmental impact.
In the commercial energy audit, we analyze the entire building using cutting edge building diagnostic technology including an infrared thermal imaging camera, a blower door (or multiple blower doors), air balancing hoods to help us to know how much to adjust the amount of air (CFM) coming from each register. We can do some of the adjustments and others require building engineers. At the end of the comprehensive energy audit, a detailed written report is provided, complete with infrared images, detailing the findings of the energy audit and providing a roadmap for improvement.
While an energy audit is only the first step toward improving your building (the audit must be followed up with work if savings are to be achieved), it puts your building on the path toward significant improvements in energy efficiency, comfort and more. Benefits include:
- Improved energy efficiency
- Reduced heating and cooling bills
- Reduced environmental impact
- Improved occupant comfort
- Improved building health and safety
- Improved indoor air quality
- Fewer drafts
- More even temperatures throughout the building
- Increased building value and more!
As stated above, we do Commercial Air Balancing for mid-sized buildings such as strip centers, medical offices, small retail stores. Adjusting air flow is a code requirement on new buildings or build outs.
Our air balancing hoods allow for making the adjustments and then certifying the work. We are members of National Comfort Institute, Inc.
